I think this is GT's intro to the big game with a large scale production dama maybe? I keep seeing people talk about big things for GT and with Jake clearly GT focused it would make sense. But more so because of the captions on each photo. "Worldwide for everyone" unless it just means international shipping but I assumed they already did that. Idk thoughts?
Now that I have absorbed more of these posts, I agree. (edit) Maple wood, wood engravings and what seems like paint stripes. Definitely seems like some sort of ‘big batch’/somewhat mass produced product.
Agreed. Although if you look at the original HD photos on GT's Instagram of the base cup and specifically the sarado, it looks like maple and not beech. That wide grain on the base is deceiving but I have maples with super wide grain too. Obviously with GT the shapes are the main thing aside from quality. So I'm hoping it's either a new shape or an option of the favs. All this said I'm sure there are DS memebers who know exactly what all of it is lol but loose lips sink ships!

Interesting. Like you said, definitely wouldnt fall in line with their ‘small batch’ idea but with Jake being more involved now this seems like the kind of move he would do.
I am really looking for what their new advancements in the shape is, or if it is just a mass produced gt1. It better be still made in the USA at a fairly limited batch, or it isnt a gt anymore
*wishful thinking in hopes that it isn’t a mass produced gt, maybe the “gt for everyone” refers to what looks like a clear sticky paint which would make it more playable for all levels of skill I would prefer a natty from gt personally but I’ll still try to snag one
Maybe the GT-E1 is like the givadama, where every purchase leads to a kendama donation to people in need, so everyone, no matter the social class can play kendama!
