I personally hate this. This year, I have gotten a couple of peeps into dama with my friend, and now we are the Kool Kendama Klan. Not the best name, and the initials don't sound to respectful too.
Might want to change that initialism. As a suggestion, maybe try: 'Fun is Undergoing in the Club for Kendama', or the FUC... oh wait
omg i had something similar happen. A couple of my friends called me the kendama world champ and i'm like "Nooooo!..... i'm far from it! and there are actual world champs!" haha

You think kendama is the cure for pretty much anything: stress, yep; losing a nicotine addiction, uh-huh; finding a way to change your oil without actually touching the engine, that too. It's very Zen. Hmm, maybe there's a book there: Zen and the Art of Kendama Mastery (ala "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance")

I like where you're going with this, but I don't think IKEA is a good example. If we produced kendamas IKEA-style, they would be made from particle board and cheap veneers
Ikea has a lot of horrible woods dama wise. I am still looking for a good wood seller so i can work on woodworking.
Man, I can relate to this so much. My parents reprimand me a lot because of how dented our wood floors are now.
