I have been practicing downspike for weeks now and i still cant get it only got the spike 2 times but it falls off im trying everything thing i learned on tutorials please help i really want to downspike
I found the whole thing was easier with my fingers on the cups and then once I got the hang of downspike like that taking them off and trying different positions. I found that holding the cups gave me a smoother wrist motion at the end which was my biggest trouble, as I was stabbing then trying to bend my wrist back rather than making it one smooth motion. Once I learned you can rotate your wrist both ways right after getting the spike in the hole I found downspike much easier. I usually am turning the ken to my left (toward my body). Also, you can think of it more as a side-spike and that might help with catching the tama
