I would call it something like light house orbit to in, or lighthouse orbit to airplane. What do you call it? It's a cool trick, btw.
was thinking of something alonge those lines but wasn't sure whether orbit applies if you Orbit the tama around the ken Thanks! Somehow thought of it. Also tried this with a Lunarflip instead of a Lighthouseflip
I was trying to land a whirlwind and the dama got caught on the string in midair. So when I went for the spike, the dama did 2 reverse earth turns Instead and landed on the spike. Hard to describe but the question is. Can this trick be replicated on some level? Does this sort of trick have a name?
Yeah I think quacktaped is right. If you take your string pull it away and down tight to your tama then do an earth turn it will replicate what happened. But to do it consistently without touching the string seems like a stretch but who knows. No idea on a name.
so you went for a whirlwind, but the string caught it, yanked it backwards, and it landed on the spike? I would just call it a funky whirlwind, but the yank whirlwind for a name sounds good too. You could get really technical and call it a whirlwind with a double inward earth turn but that's too long. But yes this trick can be replicated! You are in control of whatever the kendama does, even the string. You just don't realize it most times. I generally go about kendama with the mindset that you can do anything again that you've already done. It's impossible until it isn't basically.
So today I landed pull up to bird but from a sera grip, sort of like a downspike, catching the tama on the cup and scooping it down to bird?
Yeah think that's what we settled on Gonna have to practice it some more then try and work out some line's I can put it into now
