Hmm I can post some pics when I head into the terra shop later. I'll try to snag some pics of some of @RodDama's collection too. He lives the destroy lifestyle very well
I have @Grandpa Sandz first kendama ever, the now infamous "waxdama" quoted in this interview: http://www.dealwithitsf.com/post/4212304136/colin-sander-top-5 This actually makes me think that a "sh*ttiest dama" contest could be a good one for downspike..
Let's get this started right: A couple or @RodDama's KCN battle kendamas Battles, and some jka thrashers @Instagrom3's natty tk, not extremely jammed but some good basecup destruction on this one
Depends on the dama. I have a rasta battle in similar condition to Rod's, that I still play from time to time. Its thrashed... super rad for birds, stilts, handles, etc. Spike tricks are tougher though cause the tama bevel is pretty beat in, and the spike is somewhat flat. Serious cup rim damage can make a dama unplayable (chipping is usually okay, I'm talking about major dents or damage that seriously changes the shape of the rim), but otherwise kens in the condition pictured above will still perform alright.
I have always wondered why people spike their kendamas after a really sick run and then I say to myself, "Hell, when I start lacing lines like that I will probably spike that ish into the core of the earth while I'm jumping up and down on it yelling 'GAME OVER BITCH' at the top of my lungs." ...one day.
Now, we all those damas that have been jammed so long it's crazy. Let's see dem damas that have shredded, Jammed and laced so many tricks and memories Will post some of my own tomorrow
Make me think of that tj video with that tj pro model that was jammed so hard looked like a natty tama.
@DaKaiz3nWizard Your thread was merged with a previous thread on the same topic so everyone can see the posts from before. There is also another thread, Fresh vs Jammed, that has some good shots too.
These are my first 3 kendamas, and by far the most shredded in my collection, All of them are still very playable, and are definitely some of my favorite damas. In order: Sweets F3 rubbergrain, Sweets F3 Natty, andfinally a Sweets mystery dama
I don't know why but I love looking at completely seshed and shredded damas. I've had this Slaydawg Nihon Ash for about 6 months and absolutely played it to death. It has amazing lunar balance and I learned so much with this bad boy. Share yours!
