this is awesome! I’ve always thought kendama needs something like that. One thing that would be awesome is if you guys had a top 40 like us jugglers do: Every year jugglers from all around the world vote on the 10 jugglers that did the most in terms of inspiration, videos and bangers in their opinion. Luke Burrage gathers all the votes and announces the winners which keeps motivating all jugglers to make more quality content each year. This is great because it allows unknown jugglers to rise from obscurity because we’re allowed to vote on any 10 people in the world, so not only pro players appear in the top 40. I’ve thought about making a post on FKC about this but I thought it wouldn’t really call attention, but after Roddama told me it’s a super interesting idea I’ve been thinking about pitching it to the kendama community. Maybe I’ll make a post on KFC about it, all we need is one big kendama company/person to organize it! Just think about it, “top 40” could motivate kendama players to focus again on creativity and YouTube edits and it gives the opportunity for MANY new players to get recognition because “40” is a good number of people. That’s why in the end of the year you usually see a surge of insane juggling videos which you probably wouldn’t see if it wasn’t for the top. Thank you if you read until the end! This really has we wondering who the player of the year was. The obvious answer is Gallagher because he has just been going off recently. Who else can give him a run for his money? Breakout performance? This one could go anywhere.
