This is my main jammer right now, maple kaizen 2.0 with some birch tama that I drew a sharpie tracking line on. Also strung up with orange kusa string.
Just finished getting this one prepped (right side). It's an Ozora Japanese Maple treated with Bee Kind wood finisher; burned a line on it too for grins.
Natty November has to be the dumbest thing know to man. Nattys are good in the summer when it’s hot and humid. They suck in the winter. Just saying.
kendama alliteration (noun) - When preference for the same letter or sound at the beginning of adjacent or closely connected words supersedes the need for 100% logical or accurate descriptions for entertainment purposes. (source: John’s Jaunty Justifications - 3rd Edition) Oh, and November doesn't always mean cold and dry, or even "Winter," everywhere. Just sayin'.
First I live in Florida so there is no “cold” it’s always humid here, Second - it just makes you better so why not? Third - it’s now not know..
Yes. Maybe you just haven't found the "right" natty. See if you can find yourself a Keyaki, Red Elm, or Ash and you might change your mind.
One day you are going to find a natty you are in love with. I have found GT puts out some of the best natties in their limited runs.
