So... this is pretty random, but I've been looking through threads and wondering... What are y'alls favorite threads on downspike as of now? My fav is the honest company slogans.
Haha! Yah that’s a good one along with roasting the mods DSGS. My favorites are ones that show a bunch of pictures of peoples setups. Always fun to see what’s out there.
I agree , I like the threads that make me laugh or smile , I also like seeing what setups people put together ,and I've always liked when the historian type pros/slayers showcase their knowledge on here so some of the younger guys( even myself) can learn a little about the history of Kendama , the founding fathers of what we now love . I feel this is one of the most important things we can pass along .
Definitely the #DSGS threads. Not only do you get a chance to express yourself uniquely, but you also get a chance to win awesome stuff!
Maybe posting links to the threads you guys mention would be helpful to others. Some of these are more philosophical or business oriented but still good threads. I'm partial to threads that make you think. Also like ones that get you to consider how to make kendama better. Seals and Associations? Creating a Community What do you think about an American Kendama Association ARE THERE TOO MANY KENDAMA COMPANIES? IS KENDAMA PROFITABLE? THOUGHTS ON SMALLER COMPANIES GETTING KENDAMA INTO GYM CURRICULUMS WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE OUT OF DOWNSPIKE? JKA Kendamas Sweets Prime vs Slaydawg Elementary School Kendama Club Anyone from places without a dama scene? DSGS - Roast a Mod (mentioned by @Congarranza above) Honest Company Slogans (mentioned by @Carlos Habbenero above) Worst Trends in Kendama Also for those who might not know, there's a whole board for Beginners that has useful info.
Here's another good thread if you want to see how kendama are made: Kendama Making Videos & The Story Of
JKA thread has some great info in it. Honest slogans was a great one Worst trends is... depressingly good? I'd rather not be a hater.. but hey The Bike thread in non-dama forum is cool && there were some great threads in the Lumber Yard forum as well
