Oh yea yours was a Cookie Monster KA x Desoto Pro Mod, right? That setup looked so beautiful when it was fresh
I might use my GT-KA/KD mod (saw yours last year and when the last KA spec dropped with Steph's prospect colors knew that it'd be a perfect match with the KD tama)
I'll be breaking out a freshie for #28trickslater. Have a Cooper Eddy Prime Pro mod that I've been saving for it.
Hello all. just looking for info on this 28 tricks later challenge. what are the guidelines? what should I be doing to get ready? I'm trying to find ways of making my self better and this looked like a good place to start. Thanks.
Well let's switch up the question a bit. What kendama will you be using? Will it be fresh out of the box? Will it be a mash up? Right now I'm leaning towards my Lyndon pro mod or my krom deluxe Ken x gt e1 walnut tama.
I'm really excited for my first #28trickslater. Didn't felt ready enough for last year but I'll give my best this time. I'll be using my iji slaydawg!
One thing I want to try this year is get out to a different location for each clip as much as possible, I’m sure there are 28 separate locations I can go to in town lol. Then put all the clips together into a single edit (tried last year but didnt have the storage for it on my phone at the time)
@Dentedtama went ahead and merged your thread with the one mentioned above so all could see the previous replies.
Ohh its almost that time of the year again. I think I'll join in again this year, last year was a grind, but fun!
I did it last year with the basics as it was the start of my journey. Will see if I can manage again this year, progress is harder right now but this challenge did push me to grow so here’s hoping. Gotta decide what to use though. I have some freshies from Christmas but also just started playing some not long ago and was saving some for when I was a little farther along in my journey. Deciding what to break out when the ones I just started playing aren’t even broken in lol... should have thought ahead ha ha. Anyways, it would be great if some of you headed over to the Beginner section and posted some tricks for beginner and intermediate players for this challenge. It’s a challenge just to find enough to do to fill the month with a small repertoire of stuff you know how to do or can learn everyday.
I think I'm going to do 28trickslater this year. I ordered one of these for February, but perhaps too early. Should I try to painfully wait for February to play it? I'd like to keep it fresh for the challenge but I don't think I will be able to handle the wait. That said, it may give me even more incentive to commit to the challenge.
I’m looking forward to participating. Should be a good challenge! I’ll probably use multiple damas though.
