I’m pretty new to this whole thing and currently my favorite kendamas are Krom. I haven’t tried a lot of other brands yet but as a graphic designer i heavily fuck with Krom’s design and art direction and the dope stickers. Would like to know if there are other companies that care about design like that, as well as your favorite companies when it comes to pure aesthetics of the branding. Right now i’m playing a Krom Kamo (a few weeks in) and love the shape and the LOL clear paint. Not really looking to buy a new one right now but suggestions are welcome.
Terra has the prettiest stickers. But coolest looking kendama is either tj kolesnik, or the special terra mods that you cant buy.
Terra has my favorite aesthetic in the game by far. My background is in media production as well and pretty much everything about the Terra brand is so well executed in my opinion. Just have a look at their site: https://www.terrakendama.com/
Thanks for the love in here! Kristin (@Lightrein on insta) is responsible for our branding and web design, I’ll let her know you guys are stoked, I’m sure she’ll appreciate it! Most of her graphic work is hand-drawn, and then later digitized. We have a couple new sticker styles in, I snapped a quick pic of them to post here. Bottom three in the right column are diecut vinyl.
These are so sick! I've always loved Terra's photography as well. Terra, GT, and DWI have always felt like the most "adult" companies who aren't courting the youngest kids with their branding as much.
Those motion activated ones I got from someone in a DS trade, lol I want to put them on things that clearly aren’t voice/motion activated and film people trying to get them to work Or did you mean that COTK sticker, not sure where I got that one but children of the ken has pretty dope branding, I wish they’d put out some shirts or something <3
Ha, I like the motion activated trolling, but I meant the small one next to the destroy all damas. Hadn't seen those before
Well, isn't COTK just Stodd, June, Caleb, and Wyatt as a local team, or were they a legit organization? Sure, they all have their own sponsorships now but as long as they don't fall out or anything, COTK is still alive.
