Thats amazing. kinda the same idea as with spectraply. 1. glue different coloured woods together 2. cut it or turn it 3.????? 4. profit
@Qonnor If you're interested in what it says. . . from the top "Tanoshii" = Enjoy or let's enjoy; "Rakuraku" = easy or comfortably (as in easy to play); last but not least "kendama" which you probably already know. There's a little black circle above the Kanji for "dama/tama" that just says "dama" in phonetics. They call that Furigana (type of writing) which is just "Hiragana" (script) written over Kanji to help people who might not be able to read the Kanji pronounce it.
I think you've misunderstood the intent of this thread. Perhaps you should look back through the previous posts.
@Shadoshi Already had a similar thread so merged it so everyone could see the previous entries. Those are some funky kendama. I thought the Chain Chomp was PVC pipe at first glance.
I don't believe there is a way to post a photo from Google Search as you tried above so I modified your post to go to the Pendama as you intended. Lunatac is on here as @Steezdiaz and have posted about the Pendama when it came out originally.
Nice! Have you ever seen the Kendalex alu? He modeled them after Ozoras. Very intense to play! Yo that thing is awesome! Nice
I have seen the kendalex alu, never played it though. This one is from a guy who made one using an industrial large for his son.
This is the forerunner of the modern kendama called a Nichigetsu Ball from 1930, about a decade after it was patented. The string is held on by little metal staple-like wires both the tama and sarado.
