What are the top 10 rules to live by when it comes to dama? Chime in with your additions below. We'll etch the best 10 in a stone tablet. Honor Kentegrity at all times. Practice regularly. Do not allow others to take Kendama's name in vain by calling it "ball in a cup". Honor thy OGs. Thou shall evangelize to potential new slayers. Thou shall not thumb. Thou shall not bear false trick claims. Thou shall own a natty, or a TK-16 Covet not thy neighbor's Kendama, nor his Kendama skills Destroy all kendamas
I think you can cut off #9 at "Covet not thy neighbor's kendama." No harm in wanting to be as skilled as your kendama neighbor, in my opinion.
Thou shalt end thy tricks with a spike, or variation thereof. Thou shalt not cheese a game of DAMA. Respect thy fellow shredder, pay them your attention when it is their turn to play.
Def the last one. I’ve only been to one comp so far but I noticed a lot of this not going on, even with pros, was kind of disappointing and distracting.. What does “cheese a game of DAMA” mean??
No, handing is obviously just no good. I mean win it in a cheesy way. Your opponent isn't good at juggles? Do 4 juggle tricks. That sorta thing.
@LineKnob I think that'd fall under either #1, #6, or #7 Just a couple suggestions. - Thou shall Earth Turn if you nasty - Thou shall treat another slayer's dama with respect - Thou carry a dama with them everywhere if possible
Thou shall not spike any laughin guy in the chest or spacewalk the tama to his head by mistake. Dont skip sex to edit v20 Hone a dama freeby broken in traditionaly holding with 2 hands and bow
