Does anyone have a review on this paint? I've seen it around but nobody talks about and I'm very interested.

I have one. It's like a spray paint, that is soft, and sort of grippy, but not as grippy as silk. I have the orange/purple fade kaizen. It plays nicely, but doesn't have the best grip for lunars etc. (still more grippy than standard ozora paint, kaizen tranclucent paint, and other standard slippery paints)

The dama Keith Matsumura used to use for a lot of his lunar tricks was a Cook's custom, I'm pretty sure it was this one.

I think he may have traded it away in Japan though, for an OG Mugen (someone really wanted 'Keith's lunar dama')

I hear they break in nicely. They start out fairly slick but then become increasingly tacky l.

I have two of the Raspberry to Blue halfsplit fade Cooks customs from KUSA and they're both among my favorite tamas and favorite paints. They do start with a bit of tack, but break in to a good amount of tackiness to work with balance tricks. His colorways are impressive as always too

Thought I'd revitalize this thread based on a recent gift from KUSA. Those guys/gals never cease to impress with their creativity & generosity. ❤

This is my 3rd cook custom tama and they are all slightly different in the amount of tackiness or the slip to grip ratio. They all start off on the slick side but the 2 I've played for awhile have broken in wonderfully! No chipping or gouging whatsoever, and as others have already stated they get much more tacky once broken in. Hope you get the chance to try one out for yourself!
