This is the only video I referenced for a double loop. After tightening, the burn piece is never moving in my opinion. Yes supporting is great when someone showed me the link to the side kick that’s the same idea about a spike and only loop no carabiner I bought the tie die themed one immediately. But if you’re like me and want to maybe have like... a lot, then this is good to sub in the others without breaking the bank. 69¢ for this cord and I’ve made about 6 so far for my damas.
You’re welcome! And I would say for dimensions 12-16 inches for the inside loop. Anything below 12 will be hard to use and I would aim for 12 or 14 roughly. the outside string that you don’t loop together I found just doubling the length was enough if not too much lol. as far as engineering goes I would advise to do a larger loop than I did and leave a solid loop that will fit the whole body to tie it into your pants with ease.
Numbered to show the progression! Took 30mins for the first one lol the others are closer to 10/15minutes Already ordered coloured cord!
The inside loop you burn and connect is both the loop for the spike and your pants. the outside string you braid around it it just purley to look cool and hold it together tight as heck! hope that helps.
I've been using rock climbing chalk bags as my preferred carry for a while and ran across one that appeals to my Texan roots. I'm using one from the same company but different design here. The stiff opening makes it perfect for my intended use as an actual "holster."
For some reason your pic isn't showing. You can put a direct link to it, if it's a site, or drag/drop into your post.
