I like active kendamas. But I can't seem find any "about us" selection on their website. The only thing I know about them is that they have 3 pros: Jonathan, Steven and Edwin. Do any of you know anything else about active? Bc I'm really interested.
Active kendamas big cups are huge and they are amazing for lunars and the spikes somewhat keep there shape for a while
I really like active. If you use an active kendama with a cushion clear I swear you will be in Heaven, such a good match up. They hold up fairly well to abuse, I have had a couple now and I feel they are underrated. Their pro mods look really cool too
The active with a marble cushion is my setup and it plays like heaven when it comes to lunars and any other stall tricks
Hi guys, I'm eyeing a kendama from Active, never bought from this brand but heard good things! I'm interested in one of their Pro models, and would appreciate if you had some feedback on the 'rubberized' versions! I'm not a fan of sticky paints, and much prefer cushions. How does the rubberized from Active compare with the cushion from Sweets? Thanks in advance, don't hesitate if you have feedbacks on their kens in general, or if you have any recommandation! Looking to try one with a drilled ken, with a shape similar to my fave ken: Sweets pro mod! (I already have a Krom Nihon that I find a bit too big even tho i'm tall mysel ahah, and a natty Ozora bought at KWC!!) Cheers
Sweets Cushion is one of a kind, if the paint type says "rubber" it's mostly going to be a rubber like the Krom pop or the prime dotbursts. I have yet to try an active although I hear good things. I really like their Homer mod and the stevenmod and would gladly purchase one from someone if they had it available... =]
Thank you! Sorry I did research the forum but missed this post :x @TomChill thanks for the reply, they have both available on the Romanian Sweets reseller's website, for around 30€! I wonder how can they compare with for exemple the Sweets legend C. Fraser mod!
