Care to elaborate on this? I'm intrigued. I feel like differences in beliefs is as good a reason as any to leave a brand.
Wish I could bud.. I was just reposting what I had seen on KA’s IG post. It’s a fairly long post for obvious reasons(him leaving a company he had been with for so long) but about half way down it states what I repeated/reported him saying
I don't think he left. No official announcements. However, he has rocked other brands aside from KUSA in some of his more recent clips. Either he left, or KUSA allows its players to use other companies' damas in clips. P.S. If Wesley didn't leave, maybe he's allowed to use certain brands like Sol. After all, KUSA sells other brands too like Krom, Ozora, and the aformentioned Sol.
I think this can go in this thread.. does anyone know what is up with KUSA in general?? I’ve only been playing coming up on 3yrs now so not a long time vet or anything. But when I first entered the scene it seemed like kendamaUsA were dropping edits and New damas constantly.. well on average with other companies as far as drops go. The Edits were always more consistent than any other company though. I wonder if Scaggs leaving the team as well as the loss of Dave have had an influence on them not getting anything new out? I understand this has been a difficult year for many, and manufacturing has been limited with supply and demand due to covid, but it seems other companies have been able to keep up this past year.. they Added Josh Kim and Wes to the Tribe teams, but after losing 2pros I would have thought they would replace them with somebody else..? @htimSxelA have any insider knowledge u can share since you were/are(?) still part of that squad..?
KUSA's been relatively low-key this past year. Lots of players moved on, and they didn't release much aside from the Shift half splits, the Mags Mod, and a few other kendamas. Alissa from KUSA told me they have big plans for 2021 though. If that's the case, I await the comeback with baited breath. P.S. KUSA back in 2018 was the brand with the most hype behind it. I would go as far as to say that they had the best team at the time. If KUSA can reclaim that glory this year, then it would be the greatest comeback ever.
"Big things coming soon." That's what Dwesty, Scags, Wyatt, Wesley, and now Josh said when they left KUSA. I hate to see this happen man. It sucks.
