So these are the final results from all the KWC 2014-2019. I added flags for 2014 for comparison purposes. What do you guys think? Do you see a shift in player make-up like moving from Western players to Japanese? How about the point spread? Seems like this year the points between players was tighter than previous years. What about players who used to go but don't anymore? Thoughts? KWC 2014-2019 results. ik So Kanada said he didn’t show bc he had a big test in school and didn’t want to give a poor effort in KWC
Very nice to see this info aggregated! Right on. Who is a stats wizard that wants to run numbers on some of the spreads? Bonus points if you can account for the addition of level 11-12 and scale things appropriately
Yeah, the two active brain cells I have access to don't allow for statistical analysis so I'll leave that to brighter minds.
This kind of relates to the point spread question from the OP. I can't seem to embed this like normal IG so here is the read-in from Sweets and a link: https://www.instagram.com/tv/B0PHrDlh96m/?igshid=12xdcxgcg1vhh sweetskendamas Austin Donovan Breaks Down Some KWC Stats Our friend @austindonovan took a deep dive last night on his story to break down the final runs at this year's @kendama_worldcup. • After watching Austin's story, we new we had to share it and get some feedback from the rest of the kendama community. He raises some very interesting points that could mean @rui.boy's winning run changed KWC competition forever. • As kendama grows as a global sport, analysis like this is going to become more important and more common. Austin is going to share his findings on a future @damanerds episode as well as in a blog for our site to go into more detail. We aren't saying that every thing he said is 100% accurate or factual, but the numbers are there and it raises some great talking points. • Let's start a discussion! Do you think Austin is right with is stats? How do you think this will effect future competition? Do you want to see more in depth coverage like this?
