Hit my first stilt and double lighthouse flip today at lunch!!! (new kendama magic)

 

Oh heck you're getting good too fast.. I've been landing stilts for a bit now and it's been two years since I started. Keep it up dude!

 

Thanks! I was super stoked. Just because I hit it once today doesn't mean TOO much. I have to decide if I want to work on them or spend my limited practice time working on other stuff, you know?

 

Nah, don't judge yourself too harshly. You're doing great and once you land a trick once, all the other times are easier. What do you wanna work on though?

 

Thanks! I'd like to get consistent with basic whirlwinds, and then consistency with lighthouse and lunar pull-ups, 1 turns, flips, etc. Also I can do a single juggle okay, but I'd like to be able to hit 2-3 so I can potentially incorporate them into other lines (with the lighthouse/lunars, etc.). I want to figure out how to do juggle to spike and trades more easily too. Right now I feel like I can only hit them out of luck. I guess I want to take what I can do right now, and just get really solid so I can start to combo things together. I'm too hit or miss with everything.

 

Yeah, I'm working in getting more juggles in. I can get jug to light pretty consistently.. I'm also working on my bird stuff: bird over valley, bird flips, underbird, small birds. Also trying to have more string tricks under the belt

 

Just hit my first pull up kenflip ghost to lighthouse, like twice, and missed the in both times!! XD

 

Just hit airplane insta lighthouse flip (is that even what it's called?) lighthouse was a bit sketchy after the flip but glad I spiked it finally!

I landed some spacewalk to UFO (just before watching Rogue One(^o^))this week end , and my first big cup/kenflip/spike .

By the way ,just a little question. how do you called the trick when you're in airplane and you made a half J-stick to catch the ken in lighthouse ??

Hit my first spacewalk and spacewalk trade yesterday after scaring the shit out of cats by dropping it so many times.

 

First double j stick, shortly followed by first trip j stick. I celebrated rather hard for the trip
