These two kendamas are in about the same price range and I was wondering which to get they both seem like very good kendamas but I have only used one Wich would be the craft. I would just like to know y'all's opinions.
Both are amazing. The real question here is do you want a natty Kendama or a Kendama with sticky paint? If you want to go natty, Craft is the choice. If you want a sticky Kendama, the Slaydawg is the choice. Can't really go wrong with either to be honest.
Voted for both, they both are really great. It's hard to say which I like better. I did swap out my craft tama with a DWI Sticky AF because I weighed them and they were an exact match...so I just had to. Plus, I didn't have the patience to actually break in the natty...but will someday. I will say this. The craft for me (I have the slim btw) really feels way more locked in on birds and stilts. I don't know if it's the angle of the cup or what but that thing just locks in. With the SlayDawg it took awhile and birds are getting better as it breaks in but I still have to Jake Weins my bevel to really land anything respectable. Lunar balance on the SlayDawg feels slightly better, but can vary per piece of wood. Back to the Craft, I really like the slim shape, for someone with big fingers it's nice for slingers (which I'm still really bad at)...but also really like the oversized shape of the SlayDawg. I bounce between the two a lot. You should really just get both honestly. Dig around in your closet and find some stuff to sell on eBay or something. It's amazing how much junk most people have lying around that you can sell. And if Craft makes a Slim Plus...you know I'll be all over that.
I prefer the craft especially the Slim. Slaydawg is good but I love my natty standard size damas way more.
