I got 4th Dan a couple years ago! I stopped testing because the jka wants you to pay all their fees to become an actual member in order to test! Which would include my previous 4 dans so it's kinda hefty haha and I'm ok with staying at 4th Dan!

What up everyone! My name is Reece Takayama, and I am a Kendama Player, from Hawaii, Oahu and I've been playing for about 3.5 years now. I was originally going to buy myself one near Christmas but, one day my grandma gave me one towards the end of June 2013 as summer gift and the rest is pretty much history. Not as consistent and out there as some of the other Oahu players (You know who...well I presume the majority does) but I'm able to keep up for the most part. It also feels great to meet up with everyone who still plays at the weekend park jams, but it kind of sucks how much people just stopped playing cause the trend died. Kendama was brought into my life by my friend Tyler who was just playing outside my studio one day. He and his friend Christianare rcustom painting under Kendama Mpls.
