All, Our son, Logan, keeps throwing around the idea that he wants to host an event in Sacramento sometime soon. He has grandiose visions (which we totally support) of a cool tournament that would be a head to head format with cash and cool prizes to the winners. Just wanted to get a heat check on the Nor Cal dama scene and everyone else to see if this is something that would garner enough interest to proceed with. We have a location we are familiar with in down town Sacramento that is a really cool building that would be perfect for something like this. Thoughts?
That would be amazing. It would attact a lot of the kendama community in San Jose, SF, etc. If @Dwesty can host his own event, Logan can too!
Logan is popular enough(like Dwesty) that I think any well-thought-out event would be a smashing success. Your main problems probably won't be attendance etc but logistics like getting prizes and pros.

Sound ole fun I pulled off my own event and don't have very many super high ranked pros come but it was Still fun and way worth the time. Too bad I can't make it from Utah or I totally would

I can bring a handful of people down from Chico, and @Daun_yon can bring people up from the Bay Area. It's a great idea and Sacramento definitely needs more events. I think Logan was talking about coming down to Sunday Flow next Sunday the 22nd, we'll be driving down for that one as well and can chat it up with him about it then too!
