KUSA strings just last so long so they are probably the best all around string in my opinion but the SWEETS silk string just feel like butter in your hands so those are hard to beat based off of feel alone. They are so soft but go bad quickly.
My Sweets string took a bit to break in. Whereas my KUSA string felt smooth out of the box. I took a picture and noticed the difference in weave count. Looks like the Sweets is wound tighter! KUSA string is the top. Sweets is at the bottom.
Shaved down. Natural hemp is thick but it is strong and doesn't tangle or twist easily. Has a great look too.

My personal favorites are the Kenlab, CWCS Speed, and Ozora strings, though as of late, I must say the Sweets premium strings are growing on me a whole ton as well. Especially for long flow tricks that involve skin pinching/rubbing like hurricanes and butterflies and swirls - they're a blessing on the hand.
I was trying to get my tama onto the spike, but my silk string snapped at one of the weak points near the top hole of the tama. It felt so durable too! I guess you're right about silk strings breaking easily!
