I'm a 29 year old engineer who plays kendama on my off time. My other hobbies include freestyle rapping, playing harmonica and a little guitar, making art, writing poetry, collecting music, reading non-fiction books, having deep conversations about life, and brewing beer. I don't have a lot of time to actually play kendama but I do have down time at work here and there so I am constantly pulling up Downspike to see what the world has to offer in terms of Kendama news. I don't have a lot of people to play so I have sort of plateaued in my progression but I am still trying to grind out tricks. Tricks I am currently working on include one turn lunar, lighthouse somersaults, multiple juggles, juggle to spike, pull up trade spikes, and stilts. I consider myself an intermediate player but I can throw down some mean freestyle lines here and there, especially when it come to cup flow. Hope to jam with some Downspike members in the near future.
