how is beech ken with ash tama? thinking about matching an og beech kaizen ken with a teej mod tama. Opinions?
I am! I paired by beech ken with teej mod tama and my teej mod ken with casper half split tama. so far, both are really honed. this solved weight problems of my teej tama being too light for the ken and vice versa on the other. The ash ken x beech tama is insane for stalls and the beech ken x ash tama is good for lightys and lunars (can't do bb yet) because of the super stick paint and the grip on beech wood :)
Maple: durable and fiyah Birch: Durable and grippy Ash: Stalls and grippy I have the best experience with birch, but that's just a theory, a ken theory! JK, I actually have a birch and it slays, GO COP
Pop if you like rubber and you're cool with it, or Prime if you like a glossy type of clear. It just depends on what paint finish you like.
If you can do it sometimes, then it's just a matter of practicing enough to be able to do it all the time! That's how you become consistent at a trick!
Watch that sweets vid, pull of the tama the same way every time and give it a nice consistent tap to bring that hole back and ready to spike
I've seen most people use ken grip. For air whip, imagine doing a single butterfly while pinching the string with your index and middle finger and having the thumb in the middle of them. So if I could describe it as a sandwich, it would be thumb at the bottom, string, and the index+middle finger. Once you've got the flow, practice rotating your sandwich towards your dominant side and back.
For swirls, go to @Uriel Sanchez 's Youtube vid. Honestly, it's still a trick I'm trying to get down!
hey, could you tell me how to become a higher "rank" in downspike? (member, slayer, honed member, etc)
just keep using downspike! the more you post, the more likes/comments you get, etc. will level you up as a member
