I usually put a ton of thought into dama purchases, but nope, took me about 5 minutes to decide on this one.
Classic recommendation would be any rubber/silk halfsplit tama. The OG KUSA pros used to put their tribute halfsplit tamas on TK Kens for maximum playability. :)
I agree, rubber/silk paint and TK kens are a great combo. . I recently seshed a pokeball KUSA tama and a TK back in December and had tons of fun with it. Other recommendations would be a raw ash or LOL/sticky af/prime type of paint
I guess the silk X Tk is my best bet. I mean, it was used to win kwc... but I don't have any silk tama that are a good weight for my TK right now.
Bruh I straight-up HATE it so much. Even I'm not consistent with it, so I just gave up on it and started practicing other tricks. For example, I took one of the Level 1 tricks from this year's KWC and made it more complex (the spike to throw up dub clap one)
I think I just landed my favorite trick I've ever landed. airplane-> 1-turn cushion tap swap downspike
Recently got my two first JKA kendamas, natty ozora and natty Tk, and honestly, I haven't picked up another dama since.
I've been watching tribe edits this weekend. So inspirational, especially wyatt bray. his play style is so specific and unique.
got my package from kusa. for some reason the silk I got had a way larger bevel than my select. My select bevel is easily smaller than TK.
Smaller than a TK?!? I've got an ash silk that's very small but my birch select 2.0 is pretty standard. TKs are tiny though!
So my Kusa order was shipped, and I have to wait five days for it to come. Not too bad, but I live 20 minutes away from the warehouse.
why does kusa have to do this to me? right after I order a tk and a silk, they put up yaki ozoras for $14 and yellow ozoras for $7

Hey so how did those strings work out? I missed those because at a glance they looked like big braids but once I looked up close they seem to be just right.
they are good so far. seem to be a little thinner than kendama strings, but not a huge deal, also, they are a bit harder to break in as they kind of have this natural tangle, but also not a huge problem.
I got this 0/10 kaleb kendama with no spike and no tama. looking to trade it, preferably a fresh wine mugen or spec GT BH. let me know.
I got a custom handturned Roddama with an OG mugen tama. Would you be willing to trade? I have always wanted a kaleb with no spike and tama...
got my scale today. my $11 kusa classic is 68-69, the best matched setup in the collection. even better than my kaizen select.
