I dont like Maple kens for the same reasons people love them... they take too long to break in and are too smooth for my taste. The rougher grain of the Ash gives me more feel and control.
thinking about making a one year edit, but watching other one year edits on yt make me look like a picked up a dama for the first time today
Welp, I just hit 4 years of playing kendama, and I look like a fool compared to the others that have been playing for 1-2 years or less.
The younger you are, the better chance you have at being really good at kendama. You both are still pretty young so you have potential to be awesome! You just gotta grind and put the work in, which can be hard with other conflicts
I think Nick might have landed one or two In 3 minutes, he probably couldn't have gotten 1447 points w/ qualifiers added w/o a lvl 12 trick in his final run.
Tomoki hit Stodd’s lv 12 on stage. I don’t think Nick attempted any level 12s but he was super consistent with the tricks he did attempt
dude juggles are a grind. it took me sooo long to get 1 jug to spike, then another really long time to get two and three, and after three I was able to add more easier.
the problem is, being 5' 1", if it gets much longer, I'll be hitting the ground almost everytime I go for a 1-turn trick.
Who's keeping up with the world cup? I'm going for Belgium because stupid America freaking sucks and can't make a tournement thatSenegal did
studies show that missed spikes are the number one cause of suicidal thoughts or actions among dama players.
I think Stodd mods are just GT-1s with a slightly different shape, but IIRC the cups are just a bit bigger than a traditional dama's cups.
