Just wondering if anyone listens to Metal in the dama community. If so, Give me your favorite band and favorite song! Favorite Band: Metallica Favorite Song: Spit Out The Bone \m/
Does DragonForce count lol. Song(s): Fury of the Storm & Through the Fire and Flames (kind of overrated though)
Just randomly got into the song "Holy Diver" by Dio because I heard it on South Park, but I haven't explored too deep into heavy metal otherwise
I'm more of an old-school metal guy! Current jam is Iron Maiden, especially "Run to the Hills" and "Number of the Beast." Timeless. <3
Yesterday Metallica played SOTB live for the first one in London. It looked so hype. I wish that they played it when I saw them in Seattle.
That was crazy. The music is super hard and I thought the lyrics were going to be too but it's a bunch of 16 year old girls. Haha. Crazy. But enjoyable. Their guitarist and drummer are extremely talented.
They broke up but raised hell back in the day! lol Belie My Burial. From my hometown Pittsburgh. Forgot which label....
Not as heavy, but one of my all time favs. Like Moths to Flames. Mainly because they are so sick live and my best friend Push plays guitar for em! Album dropped today! lol *not a plug*
I respect old metal like Metallica/ SLAYER - I just don't enjoy it as much. You know you does? Turner.
They have been surprisingly well received even in the US from what I read. A buddy of mine, well versed in metal, actually likes them and I had originally sent links to him as kind of of joke.
Yes I saw that they have a song with the red hot chili peppers. That's a big deal. I have to say I like it too. Listened to a few of their songs and had karate I'm my head most of the day. But I think megitsune is my favorite of the ones I listened to today. Crazy pig squeal amped it up. But thanks for posting the link. I could see how it could be a joke at the start. Lol
It's like a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon I received as a Halloween gift a few years back from a winery called Vampire. Turned out to be pretty good and near impossible to find since apparently wine people know it's pretty good too. It kind of becomes the "un-joke," much better than the hokey name would imply.
