I have about 50$ to spend on a kendama and i need some opinions on which one to get! doesn't have to be any of these two could be any good kendama!
What are you after? Those are two very different mods as I understand? More information on your play style and what you're hoping to unlock etc, would probably be helpful.
Have you tried out the KUSA 2.0 selects? I'll link it here. Before, there was also a beech and birch option, but now it's only maple and ash.
You can stall on just about any kendama. The helping factors are sticky paints (in your case cusion clear and super stick) and a good fitting tama bevel around the stall points (cup rims and slip stop). With time the areas become "rough" and add to the friction to further enhance stalling.
To be totally honest with you, I would save up another $10 and buy a slaydawg. However, if you're dead set on getting either a fraser or a wyatt, I would personally choose Wyatt's KWC mod https://shop.kendamausa.com/products/wyatt-bray-kwc-commemorative-model
Definitely pick up a KROM maple (naked Pelle, rosadama og rasta). These damas slays so much and they're pretty underrated in my opinion. Slays for lighthouses, stalls and lunars once it's broken in.
Wyatt is one of my good friends and his dama is by far the best one that KUSA has ever made. However, Sweets Cushion Cleared pro mods are sent from heaven as well, they both will basically be shredded to nothing anyway so it's really if you like sticky or tacky
CFraser mod for sure! Sweets has really nailed their shape and ken quality down. Amongst their entire team, the tama design and burn lines express unity within the team. Cushion clear paint is really solid too. The two colors he chose are super prime for tracking the tama hole, and CFraser has been in the community for such a long time! The dude is still relevant and very innovative as far as tricks go. Also keep in mind Sweets paints in house, which is super prime Pun intended.
CFraser fosho! The tama colors are the easiest to track for me, has decent grip that stays grippy after a long while, and the kens are well balanced.
