theres many companies out there that makes damas. Which one don't you like. It can be that you don't play as good when jamming them, or you don't like their team, or your own opinion. Be honest. We're not saying anything bad to a company.
For me, I don't really like the kaizen shape. It is kinda feels to bulky for me idk. They're good don't get me wrong but I like other shapes like shenzus and DWIs

Personally not a fan of the f3s. They're very low durability and they seem like they're not very good for tricks much beyond lunar(even then, cush clear seems to have to pick up the slack) and the cups reach the point of no return way to quickly. Just not a fan I guess

i have had 6 f3 kens till now, and theres only 1 that really plays well. the beech wood on this one is dense and durable.
i always fix them with a shrink tube you normally use for electric cables.
tbh there's no kenshape that doesnt play good at all for me tho. there's always room for adjustment

For some reasons kusa kaizens dont play well w/ me. Their silk paint seems to not be tacky for me

Not a fan of F3. Each time I would get an F3 I would keep the tama and give away the ken. I have just never really liked them. I actually liked the F2 a little better but even then not that much

my ozora tama is really hard to break in. i think im gonna have to put like 4 or 5 kens worth of spikes before ill be able to grip anything on it. the cherry is so hard and dense it just doesnt dent much with how hard i hit it.

    alternatively it should last forever...

F3s. Used to be my go to but now my preferences have changed. Nothing against them, they're good kendamas, we just all have those preferred kens/companies/that one setup. Honestly the only Sweets ken I still own is my hickory homegrown with the michelangelo ninja turtle tama on it from their drop a couple months back. Really like it but dont jam it that much because (again) i have those preferred setups I almost always go to.

Not a big fan of Atack paint. Its tacky but doesnt have enought slick for me to adjust when i do lighthouses, they just topple over. The paint is known for peeling off too

Seems like a lot of people think this too but kaizens, it takes forever to push the cups down and when the cups are down to where I can do a lunar the paint reaches its second layer that doesn't have any tack at all

It seems like a lot of people dont like Kaizens and f3s. I agree. Not that they aren't good kendamas, they just doesn't work out for me. I've tried many brands, but KROM is always my go to! :)

I cannot play on a zen ken for the life of me. Cuts the amount of stuff I can do in half. The bottom is so thick and heavy! I gotta find a new ken for my new form stripe zen tama :p

Like everyone said above, kaizens it seems they didn't really pay much attention to quality, my spikes are always small the paint is gloss underneath and when it's at it's sticky point the spike is so small it has no balance

F3's I don't have away big problem with but they are usually weird weighted so taps are jank

I don't have a problem with any of these companies they are my main go to companies if someone requests what dama to get next and I really like the kaizen 2.0 and HG's

Toysmith, Yomega, and possibly some Sweets damas. Toysmith and Yomega were my first two dama brands that I played, and they SUCKED!(I think everybody knows that...) All of the Sweets damas I've played all had spikes that were way too long, sarados that were always loose, and occasionally tamas that can't fit onto kens with long spikes. Lunars are good on them, but the spikes and tamas drag me away from them.
