I just recently started messing around with this program (free). I put together a rough draft of a ken based on the Sweets HG shape. I just eyeballed it and rounded out some numbers to get it done. so far I only have the 2D done along the X and Z axis. Its a pretty fun drawing tool. I'll get the sarado done next in 2D before I dive into creating surfaces in 3D. Any one else have some cool drawings?
I made the drawing using measurement, line, rectangle, and curved line tools. If you note, the left side of sarado is smoother than the straight lined-right side above the slip stop. I did not bother to pull the sarado off when "measuring" this area. For all I know, the string hole is somewhere else and the taper is lower. Not sure what to do with this. I'm just exercising my brain while my baby naps during the day.
Check out this method of "printing" that Side7Studio uses. I'm thinking it might be a while before I can get a home unit though.
Sorry I took a break to help my buddy get design a shed in his yard. I'll open up that file in a moment. I'll post some more updates by this afternoon.
