I've never owned one personally, but I've heard they are pretty slick! I've owned a Krom deluxe Red oak, and I can say that the deluxe's are nice damas!
The paint is super slick and the mahogany never really gets worn because of its durability. Love KROM for cup and spike flow. Balance tricks are kinda tough for me on V2 and V3s.
i have a red oak and it plays beautifully... just as soon as you get it... rub it down with lemon oil (not a ton) itll be greasy for a few days but just play it a lot and youll be fine after
Mahogany Kroms are awesome! The emerald Deluxe is my first ever Krom, and has pretty much stayed resilient. Clacks are great, but the wood is a wee bit soft. Paint is a bit slippery, but with some TLC (read: destroying), it'll work out awesome!
