Who here has jammed a tama with Lofty Clear? I have one and it took a while for it to get tacky enough for my tastes. I actually let a kid at my old job play with it whenever he wanted to play kendama. Now it's really tacky, still with a good amount if slip. It's the only tacky tama I have that grips the cherry wood kaizen cups on one of my setups. One thing I am not liking about it is that it really absorbs the grim and gunk from play and looks pretty gnarly What experiences hace you guys had with it? Current state of my Lofty Cleared Sol ash tama. Can really see the gunk accumulated on the clear, but still plays really well
Very similar to yours. The more i played it, the better it became. I honestly think its one of the best clears around
@KeeganS FWIW I wouldn't recommend trying to clean it unless you are certain of the results. Had a couple of guys over here use babywipes on a tacky tama and the coating came off. Not sure if the Lofty is a coating or in the paint but if you like the way it plays you might consider just leaving the "lived-in" look.
Thanks for the tip. It seems more like a coat. It's already sort of rubbing off. Kind of like rubbing super glue off of your finger while it's still gooey and sticky before it dries.
