Was looking for opinions on DWI Sticky AF paint? The only ken I have boughten from them is the maple FRED clear coat which I then added a cushion tama too and added the maple tama to a active maple but I was looking to buy a sticky.

I don't have one, but I've only heard really great things. One of the kendamas that I REALLY want to try.

I have three DWIs. Two rubbers and now a Bluescale sticky af. I haven't really jammed it as much because I personally prefer the rubbers. The paint is very nice though. Reminds me of Avid paint. Feels like one of those plastic rubber balls you buy in the 99ยข store if that helps :D.
It's tacky but allows for some adjustment when doing balance tricks.
Outta the box it's tacky, but after about three days of jamming it gets real nice
    I'd definitely give it a 8/10 imo.

There is a DWI marilyn stick af on the Terra shop wall, its a pretty rad dama. At first its way too sticky for my liking, but after a bit of play that mellows out, and its actually a really prime style of paint. If you're interested, I'd recommend checking it out!

Its great for starters, it is extremely squeaky and sticky at first but starts to get alittle smooth after a few sessions by the palm oil and dust but retains that right amount of tack, however it can be reverted back to it's initial stickiness once you apply some wet wipes.. the paint also holds up pretty well- I am actually quite surprised but the paint layer appears to be quite thin.. I'd imagine it would have many layers like a mugen musou to have that amount of stickiness.

Here is a close up of the bevel to show how the paint wears out. A marilyn sticky af paired with an ozora maple

So as to whether you should cop- I'd say go for it! it's paint is quite possibly the stickiest one and 'evolves' as you play it too- and if you want to go back to tacky just wipe it down and it would be sticky fresh

I recommend for sure. At first, it's almost like playing with cheat codes on. It is that sticky. After that though, it breaks in very nicely and keeps just enough tack and slip. The coating is super thin, and i have one or two small chips in it after about 8 weeks of thorough play. I got the the teal with it, and it matches perfectly with the maple ken. I've unlocked so many different tricks on it, and it is my go-to dama. For 35 bucks, I think it is one of the best damas you can buy. For sure recommend!

The sticky AF rock!! I love how clean the lines are made, simple and elegant color choices, glitter flakes are superb, and the paint is tough AF!!

Sticky AF is definitely one of my favorites. It stays very sticky for a very long time. One of the most durable paints I've played on. The only one I've tried is the Jarod Porter mod, not sure any other ones differ from it but I highly recommend getting one!

Dope paint, I have a Teal With It AF on a maple GT-1, catches lunars great and doesn't flake when you dent it.

For those who have owned both, would you recommend a sticky AF of a Pro-clear Tama for long term playability?

They both last a long time and have different advantages but I would say Pro Clear has a longer life and gives you some slip room.

The pro Clear gets crazy sticky, but the sticky af also breaks in well, and is on a maple tama
