For a year now... i was sure that the tricks name is STUN PLANE. then @Angelo Saček told me its actually called stunt plane. That doesnt make sense for me. Because you start with an airplane but then you sudenly STUN it for me it will always be stun plane.
This is a STUN PLANE or for everybody else... stunt plane @htimSxelA What do you think about it? I think it has more logic in it... i dont see a plane doing a stunt there
I guess in some way this is just an inverted version of the airplane trick if you think about it and the name comes from the planes used for stunts... Not an expert on it by any means haha. As with any tricks, it takes a lot of practice to do this as well. I think the key points are the pull up of the ken and knowing where the tama hole is. I love stunt planes a lot, I should probably work on variations and level up from it. I hope this somewhat helps.
I struggle with it a lot. Feels good to nail it though. I haven't spent a lot of time on downspike and stunt plane type stuff. The stun vs stunt is funny, I like it!
Fast hand stunt plane is difficult but I bit you could do this one in an afternoon if you have never done it before. Turning the tama down really helps for learning the trick and bending your knees smoothly on the pull up is important
Hahahaha... no I've learned better than that. It was more like 20-30 minutes of trying it while not even getting close. I got the spike in a couple of times but how to rotate that into an actual catch felt totally beyond me. Other tricks I've had a number of close attempts near the beginning... this one just felt hopeless.
Hahaaha i guess they didn't want to call it inverse airplane, and stunt plane sounds so cool! Like you're doing something super fancy with airplane.
@Mr.Bishop if you can get the spike in then you're right there. Don't think of it as two movements (i.e. spike, then wrist turn). Instead think of moving in a smooth but parabolic curve, ramping up your acceleration into the wrist turn
If you cant rotate it to finish the trick. How about trying fasthand it Jk Everything what cheech said
I've never done a downspike. Sorry, I'm a total n00b, so I can never decide what trick to learn next. I'd love to get a Downspike but haven't really looked up how to do it.
K I checked that out, will work on that too. Just after I posted last time though I actually hit the Stunt Plane once. Took 20 minutes of constant trying, but at least I got it.
NICE. Stuntplanes and downspikes are a lot easier when you do them really slow. Well, this isnt the perfect expression... I like to call it slowmotion-mode. Try to improve your pull up. Try to focus the spike when you are doing stuntplanes. Try to get your tama on it, when the ken has zero speed in the air. im not a native speaker..it is kinda hard to express what i mean when i learned stuntplanes i tried to pull up the ken in the tama which really didnt work out that well. now I pull up the ken and when it has no movement I "put on" the tama. Hope you are getting the idea.
