Takahiro Maeda was Japanese Kendama Champion (I believe) three times in the 90s. One of the first Kendama clips I ever saw - and helped hook me on this game - was of him in a parking lot. This is a performance of unknown date. I'd guess that this performance is about 20 years old (1997) or older. I hope everyone enjoys. Maeda is a fantastic performer and he presents Kendama in a fun way to audiences. I'd love to see and read opinions and comments about this clip and Maeda in general.
I find this type of traditionalist play to be far more enjoyable than watching some "sick flow" modern freestyle in my personal opinion. I love how hype the little girl in the front row gets. Good find. Thanks for the share.
I saw the video before reading the description and went "the way this dude caught his lighthouses, awfully familiar!".
