Win the NKO, but then have your dama-hand crushed by a falling piano the next day OR Be extremely mediocre at kendama, but enjoy a lifetime of play?
I despise competition and would prefer not to have any part in that, and mediocrity is already a way of life for me, so this is a pretty easy one for me.
Mediocrity for a lifetime of play. Mostly because my dama hand is also my drawing hand, my strumming hand, my hand for everything. Would you rather Know exactly how any and all kendamas play (shape, size, paint, wood, new, old, just released, upcoming everything about it) but only own one red Ozora, OR Be able to make the perfect kendama yourself, but no one (including you) can ever play it?
I wanna be mediocre I think. Kendama is going to evolve so much over our lifetimes and I want to be able to play for all of it. I think I'd want to make the perfect dama.
