your idea about saying the brands they make is definitely a good one, but it's already hard to keep up with this thread as it is, and that would just add another factor. Thank you for all your input!
Just figured since you labeled the thread "Companies" you'd want to stay with that theme and some of the Japanese companies in particular are mostly unknown unlike their brands but whatever works. If you got really ambitious you could link the company names to their sites.
New entries: Bahama Kendama Yonemoc (Japanese company name - Yūgengaisha Yonemura mokkō) AKO J3 (no longer active) 44RPM Not sure these would count since they're more modders/artists Girr (still active?) Grip Kendama Adjustments: Kashimaya Toy (company) = Meijin Takumi (brand) you have them entered separately. Ronin (no longer active) Kotora Kendama should be Kotaro Kendama Ozora kendama is just Ozora (brand/model)
My first jammer was an unbranded one from the fair and my second one was from eBay labeled "Top Kendamas." (My sister bought it for me) Idk if anyone's heard of that company
yay yasai! They are in my local area, and i'm glad they are up there! super community based and sometimes too "community" but with a lot of potential!
@goenKendama should we include you as well since we distribute majority of kendamas here in the PH???
Thanks for the support but we do not currently have our own brand of kendama (e.g. Super Fly kendama by goenKendama). This thread is for Brands/Manufacturers/Artist-Modders; at least as I understand it.
Is Fujin up yet? And does anyone remember Bearpaw kendama? They had these huge kendamas?? Flux kendama?
Side 7 Studio (@DPatten) had some great tama as well as 3D printed kens and kendama holders but sadly they are mostly retired. Also "Bolt Kendama" was started by one of our members, @Ryan Brewer, but has also closed up as I recall.
Keep the names coming, folks! I'm curating a list as of now, since it also serves as a directory for me to check for news.
