No new Kendamas this year, but my girlfriend picked up a ringdama for me, it's a lot of fun! If I fit it loose I can nail slingers lol
OOoohhh just got my 8yrBday in as Xmas gift from GF. She ordered from KUSA after their deadline for before Xmas service. And said Krom was sold out when she had looked.. I ended up with a 2.5gr heavy Ken. Super stoked to start playing with it
How is the reshape Taiyo? I've seen a few of the old, old Taiyos and Emporers, and they honestly left a lot to be desired, they didn't really play like a normal ozora whatsoever, the dimensions were kind of odd, and the tama was far from spherical haha
My girlfriend got me the Krom walnut pro mod which I’m stoked on. It had a two gram difference on the weight which was cool. Beautiful kendama.
I couldn’t compare to the old school Taiyos since I’ve never played one, but I love the ReShape Taiyo kendama. I’d say the ken is kinda like a Sweets sumo (a bit taller though), but the premium paint on the tama is slightly icier for sure. I wish I switched it with a Sweets sumo tama. It’d definitely be an awesome jammer for a Jumbo. The bevel is on point and it’s spherical. Maybe just a bit eggy vertical wise, but I still love it!
Grabbed the Black limited Pop and the new 9yr.. I liked the 8yr last year and I haven’t played a Pop in a long while. So stoked on these. Was just reminded weights can tend to be way off on these guys so will check that out and hope for the best!
