I've always wanted a REZ ken, it's just a piece of art and history that I was never able to get but always wanted to. Also I've never seen a bad opinion about his work. Sweets homegrown next gen tama with the multiple types of wood. Cushion clear.
@Jacob Everett We already had a similar thread so yours has been merged here so previous entries may be seen.
Rhino is tacky from the box (think Cush but thinner so it feels almost natty to the touch) and keeps beeing that way for AGES Hippo needs some work to get its full potential and is a bit of a thicker coat than rhino I prefer rhino
REZ. Been on a REZ kick lately if you’re following my IG and have definitely made a couple dream setups Hand made kens (resin cast or hand turned) and blue tamas (of course they’re all blue tones) have become my idealized dama aesthetic
Word haha i just had a look at it when the sun reflected on my screen. I do recognise the colours now haha
From what I've found (could only find a tape measure lol) they're all roughly around 1 3/8 inches, but the Blue/Orange ink wash and the newest Blue/Green ink wash are both slightly larger (can't tell how much, tape measure only has inches on it, damnit United States of America).
1. Craft Shift Maple Ken with KUSA Dwesty Tama 2. dao beech ken with kisrael black tetrah tama both 7 finger string
This one specifically. Damon first teased the tama almost a year before RWB revealed and dropped their The Sesh series and for sure wanted the pro clear version and make this exact setup since I already had the ash wood REZ. Was just too slow and missed the pro clear drop for the Aspen tama (got the Blue Spruce instead then the Aspen cushion clear tama on the second drop) and have low key been on the lookout for a fresh pro clear since. Finally found one on FKC and jumped! So stoked, definitely have wanted this as bad as I wanted the Glacier Turquoise Mugen Musou until I managed to get that too.
Here's my dream come true. . . Sweets grapevine spectra cush tama Krom BL Maple Ken with lunar balance hole KUSA string (4 fingers) & bearing Craft shift seal (gotta rep the best)
