    I can't decide which photo to submit so I'm submitting both. These pictures were taken with my iPhone.

    This first photo was taken just a few weeks ago in a province in Northern Luzon, Philippines. We accompanied a relative from the US to the beach and it turned into a nice start to our year. I also learned how hard it is to land an inward lunar when practicing on a windy beach.

    Of course, this photo also features my 5-year-old who's the reason I started playing kendama.



    The second photo was just taken the other day at a restaurant near our place. We live just 10 minutes from Metro Manila in the Philippines but our area is already considered a province. That explains why you'd see a lot of trees on the foreground first before seeing the sunset on the city skyline.

    This photo is special to me because it made me realize that despite being familiar with our province, I haven't really seen everything yet. I've been to this restaurant countless of times but I've never been to the other side with this view. This moment reminded me of being more present and being more appreciative of what I have here and now. I hope this translates into my dama life, too.



    Win or lose, I enjoyed this exercise. Thank you so much to DS for coming up with this!
