Dang those analogs look so nice. I wish more companies did the "rod-dama" style of making kens, with multiple wood types I mean.
Base on my experience I think 70/30 is good for tracking. After playing a KendamaMastas Halo which 70/30, it helps me to be accurate at spike and compare to my Sweets HG Stripe it helps me on the tracking for example in a juggle lines there's a long stripe you can see to find out where is the hole. But in 70/30 you can actually see the whole itself or it already had a pattern to know where the hole is. Although I started by knowing the string hole thou xD
I once did it when I get my first kendama since there are no tracking at all and it helps me to find out where the hole is but after playing a 70/30 or stripes I find out myself easier to track the hole.
70/30 kendama have been the jam lately Krom pops have in my opinion the best tracking, but stripes are also another tracking type im into, the Merckx mod from dwi is
I love to have a sort of unique dama but still good tracking, so I really like my reed stark and Krom Autumn tamas. I feel like 70/30s are the way to go and I own a couple pops too. Would love to try a woodburn Stodd Tama on my natty setups. If I knew how to burn I would def be putting stripes on every natty tama I have.
