Very honed! Mine is really beefy. 98 grams dead on ken and tama. Lunars slap like nothing; the only disadvantage is that I find it a bit hard to sling since it is so large.
dang 98 grams! my arm is sore just hearing that lol. is the krom pop worth the buy? i’ve been wary of silk paint since my last experience wasn’t too great
I own three KROM pops. 20 dollars for a quality dama is great! The Ken Shape is an all-rounder and is good for all your needs. The KROM rubber is also a really high quality rubber paint. It's not like KUSA silk which needs a bit of time to break in, but it'll stay consistent with it's good slip-tack ratio. P.S. I suggest you wait for the KROM black friday sale. The pops can go as low as 10 dollars per dama, and you can't find that value anywhere else!
Just got the Nick Gallagher champ mod. The boost shape is actually super honed, I landed this trick I had been trying to get for so long like second try with it. I can now imagine how insane the cushion legend mod is.

It took a bit, but my prize from Hoshi no Tane on FKC finally came in! This is a Beech "Freedom" kendama from Spanish brand Teepee Kendamas. It's a slightly larger kendama than the standard size. The tama is covered in Silk paint reminiscent of the Legaxis steam coating; interestingly, the area around the bevel is not coated in the silk paint, so the kendama breaks in better for stalls. Comes with a small base cup drill hole for better lunar balance. Only 20 euro on their site; they also have options in maple and ash. Go check them out!
I have a bunch of freshies and more on the way. Getting to be a bit of a Kendama hoarder lol. They just look so clean and I am not very good yet, so find I want to almost save some up for when I have some skills to share. But I need motivation with no community where I am so gonna crack a new one out today and start grinding through some KWC from the very beginning as a kind of focus. Would love some advice on what to play next? I have only played a dollar store Kendama, a Sweets Prime Dot Burst, a sticky/maple Northern Kendama and a pineapple/Sweets collab with cushion clear. Some of the pops I may give away still as I’ve given away a bunch of damas trying to get some people to play with and I have more not pictured that are for giving away. I may also keep my sakuras as my collection pieces (have to get the one off of KUSA). Anyways, lmk what you think I should jam next!
Oooh oooh oooh!! Play that KROM Slaydawg..! You’ve already played a Cush from Sweets and silk paint, the lol sticky Clear from Krom is great. I leveled up with many tricks with that Dama!!
I started a Pop since I have a few, but ya, I think next on my list is one of the Lol clear or the Grain Theory.
Pops are great too! I just gave one to my buddy yesterday that’s moving to Texas today.. he hit spike 2nd T and big cup seconds later. Was already super hyped on it!
