Yeah, this is definitely not ebony, someone else mentioned that ebony is way darker and I agree. Ebony is almost black it’s so dark.
Damn dude, that thing is gone with the wind.. I’ve had something from amazon get delivered to a whole other state. I have no clue how it happened and it was never resolved. I hope whoever got it enjoyed it lol
I haven’t had a reply to any of the emails that I sent to the Friday kendama company. No response to the DM I sent to them on IG. I’ll just have to chock this one up to experience. Of the 18 kendamas I own from 8 different companies this is the first one that was poor quality. I would have liked to have known if this kendama was just an overlooked one that slipped out before being finished. Anyways, let’s just say ‘buyer beware’; it is possible that Friday Kendama has quality control issues and it is certain that they have poor customer service.
Def not an ebony, I didn’t check the site but from the low res pic posted here it looks more like one of their mahogany kens, or maybe the rosewood? The ebony ozos are Very black. They’re awesome! I have one on my wall at home
