how long is your string?

I used to play 3finger only. moved up to 4. somehow plopped to 61.5cm (about 60 with the knots) lol

 

I started with 2 finger string but after more playing I realised that a 4-6 finger string gives you way more freedom... I hate it when you quit a combo because your 2 finger string is literally wrapped around everything lol

 

If my string is too long I usually just clamp it.

 

did you get the alex smith combo clamp pack today? I just HAD to cop. such a steal

 

I missed that drop! Last I head it sold out in nanoseconds. I was too busy fiddling with my hardware store bought generic clamps.

My current dama came with 10 finger string and after trying it for a bit, I honestly feel it’s too long. Pull up tricks just don’t feel right and it doesn’t help as much as you’d think with late flips and juggles. Not to mention late goons and anything of the sort become much harder. Cloud bounces and loops tend to be easier with longer string, however. I suppose it depends on the types of tricks I’m doing at the time. 6-8 fingers seems like the sweet spot for me.
