True, most probably because each community has their own subreddit (I know for sure kendama has one).
In Vancouver there is a pretty large juggling and circus community. We've (dama players) been going to some of their jams, and its usually good fun. In the summer there is a weekly jam in a nearby park, they usually set up a DJ table and play music to jam to until dark. A couple of jugglers have started playing dama, but most don't have the interest tbh. They just like juggling/flow or whatever. Its nice to have something different to watch when we take a break from dama though
