Totally should make an insta homie, even if it's just for kendama! But I feel you, my homies fell off and I stopped for over a year. Then when I picked it back up I realized how much more it is than just a toy and got super passionate about it. Slay on!
Hey everyone! My name is Alexis Lee and you may or may not know me as the one international member of LEZDama. I'm from Singapore, but I have moved to work in Tokyo as a graphic designer this year. The community in Japan is awesome, I feel like it's so surreal to be living here sometimes. I started kendama in November 2014. After that year, kendama boomed in Singapore. Last year I traveled through Malaysia, Tokyo, then through 4 states in America and then I went to the UK and Paris for school trips. Lots of pitstops and places in my kendama travels last year wouldn't have been possible if not for kendama folks. I love meeting new people and I'm not about to stop. I finally made it to KWC this year and met a lot of you, and I really want to attend MKO sometime in the future. I love photography and filming when I have the time, and made a detailed travel edit featuring all the players I met by traveling, as well as the international players visiting Singapore. Watch it on a computer because the music doesn't play on mobile. I promise good vibes. My Instagram: @myhotCaffeine My Kendama Blog: http://damadiaries.tumblr.com And check out the @LEZDama Instagram as well!
I'm Rob Henman from the UK! Been playing for about 4 years now (a quarter of my life!) and am currently the very first 2-time European champion. I am sponsored by Royal Kendama and am the youngest JKA 5th Dan in the Western Hemisphere (to my knowledge) I hope to meet many of you all at events and will encourage you all to try and make it to Poland next year for the EKO! Insta: @dimensions2000 @royalkendama Also, not to begin on a bad note, but you know we've had a forum since 2012? Kendama.co.uk/forum

Hey I'm Andrew Benincasa (@adbenny_), I live in Central New York and I have been playing kendama for about 2 years but I really gotten into it in the past year, I wasn't very active my first year. A year ago I started a club at my school to promote kendama and just to get other people into it. I was the only one in my area that played so I wanted show other people kendama. I also started a kendama group called CNYK or Central New York Kendama. Its a group consisting of the serious kendama players in my area club. I am hyped to be apart of this forum and I can't wait to talk to other kendama players in the community! Go give @cnykendama and @fluxkendama a follow! It would be much appreciated!

From then on things took off, kendama became a big part of my life and still is to this day. Aside from kendama, I dabble in yo-yo, film, photo, anime, and fighting games. @matthewtayag is my instagram. follow @benherald and @nobu.nori0411 if you aren't because you're missing out.

Hello Dama Friends! I'm Chelsea May Perez. I'm from Paramount, California and I play for the Sweets Kendamas Homegrown Team. (I usually tell people that I'm from Long Beach because it's a city below Paramount, and Long Beach is less boring. Haha!) I started playing Kendama on 02/07/2014. What gets me stoked about Kendama is how easy it is to make friends and all the good vibes among the community, seeing everyone so hype when they finally land a trick they were working so hard to get, seeing the development and changes of new and improved Kendama shapes/woods/paints, and pretty much progressing everyday whether it's just a practice sesh or a total grind. My Instagram account is: @heychelseamay. Y'all gotta follow my girlfriend's Kendama account: @cho.dama. She's an artist and has some Kendama-inspired products such as stickers, prints, and shirts! Another account you guys should follow is: @lezdama. We're an all-woman (yes, all gay women) Kendama crew that started up about 2 years ago. Our mission is to empower, represent, and bring more girls/women (of any sexuality) to play Kendama! Peace! Happy slaying!
Hey Everyone! My name is Drew Kennedy, I live in Salt Lake City. I've been playing kendama for about 5 months. The things that gets me most stoked about kendama is meeting new people, learning new tricks, and seeing other people's creativity. My IG is lifeofdrewk. 2 IG accounts that I think everyone should follow are @Kendamacaden, and @junya_shonankendamateam
Yo Dama fam!! My name is Ocean Mamalias, I'm from Honolulu Hawaii, I play for "Sweetskendamas" on the "Homegrown Team" and I've been playing Dama ever since the end of 2013. Before Kendama I used to be really into skateboarding which I think skatings similarities to kendama, in the way that the possibility of tricks are limitless and you just want to further progress, got me hooked to the toy. Kendama has become one of my main passions and the reasons why I love dama is because you can take it wherever you go, express yourself with your own style and image, and the community is super sick. My Instagram - @oceanm_ Other Instragram accounts you should check out that I'm affiliated with - @sweetskendamas @slayersclub Dama on!
Howdy dama folks! I'm Jenny Cho. I'm based in LA (though really, I'm technically located in Pasadena, California). I'm an artist that had NO clue that I'd be involved in any hobby that required physical activity whatsoever, that got introduced to this little skill toy by a coworker roughly about a year ago, and it changed my entire life. Kendama is just a toy, but it's also a hobby that has the ability to take you new places, meet new people, and be involved in a real community where people truly care about each other. It's pretty special in that way. I've met my amazing girlfriend through this hobby. I've made some real friendships and long distance friendships with this hobby. I've travelled across the country for this hobby. The fact that kendama managed to do all of this for me in the span of about a year is pretty amazing. I've separated my IG accounts recently - you can find me at @jennychoart for my work and @cho.dama for all of my kendama related posts. Check out my website at www.chodama.bigcartel.com if you want to see some of the dama merch I've designed and am selling. As for other IG accounts, everyone go follow @heychelseamay (if you for some reason are not) because she's a total badass that I <3 and @girlskendamacollective because girls kendama too, and they slay!!!
What's good! My name is Damon Kirchmeier, I'm 20 years old from SLC, UT and I just figured out how to post here. I've been playing kendama for around 4-5 years now, my buddy went on a ski trip to Japan and came back with one, I got stoked on it and went home and ordered myself a red oz. Events are my absolute favorite part of dama. Gives me an opportunity to travel to a lot of dope places and hang out with people who are likeminded in near every aspect. See y'all at MKO <3 Kendama Insta: @dirty.dam Personal Insta: @dam.o.n For a good laugh: @jerryoftheday For the dank rare rare damas: @nori_to_mo
Howdy, John here. I’m a Texan born & bred, living in Tokyo, with a ramen shop in Manila, Philippines where we sell kendama. I, and the rest of my crew, started playing when we opened the ramen shop four years ago and we’re having a blast bringing kendama to the Philippines. Hey, all! I'm Jong, living in Long Island, NY. Just got into Kendama two months ago after stumbling onto a video of Zoomadanke on Kuma Films' Youtube channel. I've been hanging out on /r/Kendama but it's a bit quiet on that front so it's pretty exciting to see a new place for more discussion and all that jazz away from Facebook.
