What software did you use? Was it free to use?
looking to get into some creation and need some tips getting started

 

I used Google SketchUp to make a reference drawing of the shape and then I used 3DsMax for modeling. To get started with 3D modeling, SketchUp is pretty easy to learn and they have a free to use online version with lot's of tutorials
