I'll be going this year The tricks don't really concern me, if I end up filling my card with level 1 tricks, I'm cool with that.
I always work on saturdays, so i'm unable to compete, but I'll be there to watch and jam on sunday and monday. That means all you downspike mother f****** better make it to finals!
Here are the first five levels, if anyone would rather watch it here than go to Youtube. Level 1: Level 2 : Level 3 : Level 4 : Level 5 :
That happens a lot with Japanese style tricks. Lighthouse > hold 3s > let go. I think spiking it is something that most people have gotten used to, to sort of assure people that the trick is legit. But definitely not necessary!
Actually the Shinma Special is really a scramble swing spike. It's a generally cool and simple trick to do. The one that i find crazy is Missu's basecup hanging stuntplane fasthand. That's a wee bit crazy for someone as slow as me. Also, i'm loving the music on Level 4! Last year, the overall tracks are super awesome! Hoping for a better tracklist this year!
@azleonhart actually i just landed that trick(basecup hang, stunt fasthand) yesterday & i was stoked!!! for me i think my pet peeve right now is candle tricks. man 6-6 is a bit similar to matt decoteau line in his edit 9 in kenco. (vimeo.com/152319284)
Level 7! Also, i'm diggin' your level 7 trick, @htimSxelA! And, can anyone tell me if this kid is supposed to be a hybrid between (Satoru) Akimoto and (Kubota) Tamotsu?
