Got my first jstick swap downspike yesterday. This trick is so satisfying. S/O to Uriel Sánchez and his YouTube Tutorials.
I also had trouble with learning them...I always kinda rammed the spike from far distances in hole-direction.. Found out that the trick is: Of course bend your knees...then try to throw up the tama really slow..while youre doing it focus on the hole and keep the spike near to it. when the tama has no gravity it feels like you're having a lot of time for the downspike. i managed to do a orbit - downspike in that time and im also beginner-advanced skilled. try to do big-cup and base-cup downspikes...was easier for me.
Just landed my first stilt! Super clean no finger assist. I don't know how people do stilt flips. Crazy but possible I guess
And i don't get how i can add a clip from insta without the link so you can actualy see it here without going to insta
I just landed a lil Around USA variation where after every earth turn you switch to tama grip and do a j stick, then switch back to ken grip and continue the trick. Took me like an hour or so to land. About to throw the clip up on Instagram, go peep.
It's nice to not have to go to falling in I really like how much this trick can be refined to look more effortless as you practice it too.
Yeah agreed. It gives variety but yeah, I don't think I've ever thought of how it can look quite effortless!
Nailed a Lighthouse finally! Gotten maybe 5 or 6. I had said I got that before, then realized I had in fact done Candlestick which is much easier. Airplane is getting somewhat consistent now too... which feels crazy good. STOKED!
Dude I remember being so stoked to hit lighthouse too! First trick that seemed really impossible, so to actually legit do it is crazy.
