The Skateply is a pretty awesome kendama and I'm sure you will not regret buying it. It's limited and awesome af. The only reason you may regret it depends on how bad you wanted that GT-KA because they are dropping soon. Real soon. But you could buy both if you can afford it!
I'll end up with both of them even though I shouldn't spend the money haha. Just couldn't pass on the skateply, I know I'm going to love it. Will also be my first LBB so that'll make it even better
What are you all using for LBB holsters? I've found the sweets leather to be able to stretch around and grab it real snug. It works to carry it around, but it's by no means a quick on&off.
The old KROM rubber holsters worked well, the new 'hookups' design don't fit them easily though if I remember correct. That Sweets holster looks like it fits pretty decent
It's not something I can wear on a belt loop though. The tension is so high, that the rivet pops occasionally. KUSA just released a new holster to the market. That one will definitely work.
I'd love to see more sk8ply LBB's in other colorways (+ terra painted tama?), maybe I can create an example for my ultimate LBB in photoshop when I find the time : )

quickly tried something in photoshop. something like this would be my favorite i think. simple matte black tama, maybe battlescar painted with some olive green or red underneath. ply colors brown and dark green/black
I love the GT-KA. I destroyed my first one, and my second is coming in the mail. 99% worth it. (Not 100% because it has similar pros and cons of the Craft slim plus, but is more expensive. They just have different feels).
I ordered a GT-KA yesterday haha, I have a craft 2.0 plus and it has been one of my favorites to jam. The skateply LBB has been treating me very good, however when the GT shows up I'll probably let the LBB stay in pretty good shape. I'm absolutely in love with the skateply.
